ADVOCACY ALERT from the DRP RE LONG TERM SERVICES AND SUPPORTS SURVEY
Friends –
The Department of Public Welfare applied for and received funding under the Balancing Incentive Program (BIP). BIP is intended to continue the rebalancing efforts of states working to move institutional dollars into more community services allowing people to remain in their own homes. To that end, the Department of Public Welfare wants your input on how it can improve the understanding of and access to Medicaid long term services and supports. The Department asks that you complete the survey by Friday, July 25th, 2014. You can access the survey by clicking on the link below.

Any questions you have on the BIP or how to access the survey can be sent to the Department of Public Welfare at RA-PWBIP@pa.gov. NOTE: only use this email for questions or how to access the survey. Input and recommendations on BIP activities must be included in your survey responses, and any recommendations submitted to the email account will not be able to be considered in the survey compilation.
Background information to describe this activity to stakeholders is available by using the following link: http://adobeconx.tiu11.org/p7ztvqcnka2/.

Your participation is important! The Disability Rights Network of Pennsylvania (DRN) and some community organizations are preparing comments, so if you are affiliated with an organization you may want to find out if it has comments prepared as well.
