Disability Rights Pennsylvania Announces Retirement of CEO Peri Jude Radecic

Board of Directors Begins National Search to Replace Radecic

Harrisburg, PA – Disability Rights Pennsylvania (DRP), the leading provider of legal advocacy services for people with disabilities in Pennsylvania, announced today that after a distinguished decade of service, CEO Peri Jude Radecic, has announced plans to retire in April 2025.

“It has been the honor of a lifetime to serve our community and work with a talented staff and Board of Directors,” said Radecic. “I am so proud of the impact DRP has had in creating systemic change in Pennsylvania for people with disabilities. I look forward to supporting the transition and continuing our excellent work over the next nine months.”

The Board is grateful for Peri Jude’s leadership over the last decade,” said Shirley Keith Knox, DRP’s Board Chair. “Under her service, DRP grew its public policy profile and increased efficiencies to serve over 6,000 clients annually.”

The DRP Board of Directors has started the process to replace Radecic.  A search committee of the Board and staff has met to issue a Request for Proposals from executive search firms to conduct a national search for a new CEO.

Disability Rights Pennsylvania is the federally mandated Protection and Advocacy system for Pennsylvania, charged with protecting and advocating for the rights of individuals with disabilities.
