Disability Voting Rights Week

This week, the disability community is coming together to support and build the power of the community through voter registration. The week of September 12-16, 2022 is Disability Voting Rights Week, a national, nonpartisan initiative coordinated by the American Association of people with Disabilities’ (AAPD) REV UP Voting Campaign.

The message for disabled voters is this: Your vote is your right, and your vote is powerful.

AAPD estimates over 38 million people with disabilities are eligible to vote. 17.7 million disabled people voted in 2020.

REV UP stands for Register! Educate! Vote! Use your Power!

Disability Voting Rights Week is a rallying call to make sure our communities are registered and ready to vote.

Deadlines to register to vote vary from state to state.  In Pennsylvania, the deadline to register to vote is October 24. Do not wait. Register to vote today. If you have moved since you last voted, you must change your address to vote in November.
