Free Workshop for Disability Advocacy Groups: Social Media 101; Tuesday, January 29, 2013 10a.m. – 12p.m.

Social media has become one of the most highly used forms of modern communication and advertising. Websites and Applications such as Facebook and Twitter allow advocates and organizations to “get the word out” much faster than traditional methods.
Successful advocates are using social media campaigns to achieve their goals. In this workshop you’ll learn ways to use social media to get your message out and tools and tips to help you get started.
Alexander Liffick, Information Technology Consultant, will be our presenter. The workshop is for beginners who have not used or are intimidated by technology.
