News from Fair Housing Accessibility FIRST Program-FREE Trainings on Accessibility Requirements of Fair Housing Act

News from the Fair Housing Accessibility FIRST program:

The Fair Housing Accessibility FIRST program provides FREE trainings on the accessibility requirements of the Fair Housing Act.  These trainings are funded through a HUD contract.

One such training will take place in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania on April 9, 2015.  The event is sponsored by Great Lehigh Valley Realtors, the Housing Equality Center of Pennsylvania, and North Penn Legal Services.  It is FREE to register and attend.  Click here for the flyer.

The presenter will be Scott P. Moore, of Baird Holm Attorneys, who will present the following modules:

Module 2:  Fair Housing Accessibility Requirements Overview
Module 4:  Fair Housing Act Enforcement
Module 11:  Making Housing Accessible through Accommodations & Modifications

There will be an additional presentation, “Disability Housing Resources and Solutions for Lehigh Valley Landlords, Realtors, Developers, and Communities,” by the Housing Equality Center and North Penn Legal Services.
