The Institute on Disabilities at Temple University (http://disabilities.temple.edu/), Pennsylvania’s University Center of Excellence in Developmental Disabilities provides interdisciplinary training, technical assistance, research, and scholarships to enhance the lives of people with developmental and other lifelong disabilities in their communities. The Institute on Disabilities is actively recruiting for the following position:

Assistive Technology Program Coordinator

The Assistive Technology Program Coordinator serves as an information specialist on assistive technology, providing assistance to consumers regarding availability of devices and services to meet their functional needs.  The Coordinator conducts assistive technology device demonstrations, trainings, and presentations for consumers, families, students and providers.   Coordinating statewide public awareness activities, including efforts of subcontractors and overseeing public awareness entries in the PIAT database will be the Coordinator’s responsibility.
