Please help the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) to widely distribute the attached communication; Announcement 059-18: Public Comment Opportunity – Waiver Amendments and Transportation (Per Trip) Fee Schedule Rates.
AUDIENCE: Individuals and families, Administrative Entities, Supports Coordination Organizations and Providers of Consolidated, Person/Family Directed Support (P/FDS) and Community Living Waiver services.
PURPOSE: To announce that proposed amendments to the Consolidated, P/FDS and Community Living Waivers effective November 1, 2018, as well as new proposed Fee Schedule Rates for Transportation (per trip) effective January 1, 2019, are available for public review and comment. There is a 30-day public comment period that starts on June 23, 2018 and ends on July 23, 2018.
DISCUSSION: The Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) is pleased to announce the opportunity for public comment on proposed changes to the Consolidated, P/FDS and Community Living Waivers. These changes (referred to as waiver amendments) are anticipated to be effective on November 1, 2018. As part of this process, ODP is seeking your valuable feedback and comments on the proposed waiver amendments.
COMMENTS: Interested persons are invited to submit written comments regarding the proposed waiver amendments and Transportation (per trip) fee schedule rate. Comments received by 11:59 p.m. on July 23, 2018 will be reviewed and considered for revisions to the waiver amendments submitted to CMS and the final Transportation (per trip) rates developed.
ODP will also hold two webinars to receive comments on the proposed waiver amendments.
