Public Comment Period for Proposed Amendments to Consolidated and Person/Family Directed Support Waivers

The Department of Human Services (Department) is making available for public review and comment the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) proposed amendments to the Consolidated and Person/Family Directed Support (P/FDS) waivers that are anticipated to be effective May 1, 2016. The public comment period for these waiver amendments ends on February 9, 2016

Please Note: The public notice was issued earlier than anticipated.  For this reason, ODP will accept comments on these documents from January 9, 2016 through February 9, 2016.  Please disregard the language in the notice that says comments must be received within 30 days of the publication of the notice.  Further, ODP has been experiencing technical issues in posting all of the waiver documents on the DHS website.  This has resulted in the publication of an incorrect link in the notice.  The following waiver amendment documents are being made available for public comment at http://www.dhs.pa.gov/provider/developmentalprograms/ConsolidatedandPFDSProposedWaiverAmendment/index.htm#.VpAihVL09XH.

• Waiver Amendment Comparison Chart – This document provides a side-by-side comparison of the current approved waiver language and the verbatim changes proposed in the Consolidated and P/FDS waiver amendments.
• Complete Consolidated Waiver – This document contains the entire text of the Consolidated Waiver with proposed amendment language incorporated.
• Complete P/FDS Waiver – This document contains the entire text of the P/FDS Waiver with proposed amendment language incorporated.

The ODP will hold two teleconferences to receive comments on the proposed Consolidated and P/FDS Waiver Amendments effective May 1, 2016.  Dates, times and links for registration to attend these webinars are as follows:

Please be advised that registration for each teleconference is open until the presentation begins.
