The Disability Rights Network of Pennsylvania Appoints New CEO

The Board of Directors of the Disability Rights Network of Pennsylvania proudly announces the appointment of Peri Jude Radecic, Esq. as Chief Executive Officer.  Ms. Radecic is currently employed at the Arizona Center for Disability Law (the state Protection and Advocacy), where she serves as the Executive Director.  Before becoming Executive Director, she served in the positions of Litigation Director and Director of Public Advocacy at the Center.

Ms. Radecic’s extensive civil rights background includes:  State Civil Rights Manager for the USDA Rural Development in the state of Washington, Equal Opportunity Officer for the City of Tucson, and appointment on the Arizona State Advisory Committee to the US Commission on Civil Rights.  In addition, Ms. Radecic has experience in public policy work in Washington, D.C. where she served as the Executive Director of the National Gay & Lesbian Task Force, and as the National Lesbian Rights Program Director for the National Organization for Women.

Ms. Radecic is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Arizona College of Law.

The Disability Rights Network of Pennsylvania looks forward to Ms. Radecic’s continued work in advancing the protection of disability rights for persons with disabilities in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  Ms. Radecic is a Pennsylvania native (Pittsburgh) and is looking forward to returning to Pennsylvania.  She will be based in the Harrisburg office of DRNPA.  Her anticipated start date is July 1, 2014.

The Board and Staff of the Disability Rights Network of Pennsylvania are very excited to have Ms. Radecic join the DRNPA Team.
