D.M. v. Services, LLC Filed

On June 29, 2023, Rocco Iacullo, Laura Caravello, and DRP filed a lawsuit on behalf of an employee and against their employer, Services, LLC in the Middle District of PA. The employee, who is unable to drive to work because of his disability, was dependent on co-workers to drive him to work. When Amazon changed the employee’s work schedule, he requested a reasonable accommodation of a 30-minute change to his work schedule to allow him to continue to commute with his co-workers. Initially, Amazon granted this request and employee was able to successfully work for over a year. Later, Amazon withdrew the accommodation and fired the employee. The lawsuit was filed to redress Amazon’s violations of the ADA and PHRA and is seeking damages, back and front pay, other lost benefits of employment and attorney’s fees.
