DRP Successfully Advocates for University Employee to Work From Home as a Reasonable Accommodation
A Pennsylvania university employee with a disability that makes leaving her home difficult contacted DRP after she received no response to her request for remote work as a reasonable accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act. After DRP advocated with the university on her behalf, the requested accommodation was granted allowing the university employee to continue remote work. University counsel credited DRP’s involvement for prompting the university to take action on this request.
